University of Lubiana logoThe University of Ljubljana Slovenia (http://www.fgg.uni-lj.si/kpmk) was established in 1919 and today encompasses 22 faculties, 3 academies of art and 1 university college 26 faculties, academies and colleges with altogether about 56 000 undergraduate and post-graduate students. It employs about 3500 teaching and research staff, assisted by nearly 900 technical and administrative staff. Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering has about 190 employees, about 90 in teaching and research process. It has about 1800 undergraduate and 150 graduates and Ph.D. students. The faculty is active in research and development work in the whole field of civil engineering. It is well equipped with laboratories and computer facilities. Chair for Research in Materials and Structures, which will be involved in PERPETUATE, is educational and research unit. It has five permanently employed members (4 PhD. and one B.Sc. degree), four temporarily employed researchers (PhD. candidates) and three associated researchers (Ph.D. degree) employed on contracts.
